Ferrari expanded its range while keeping it's the purity when it introduced the California in 2010 with their first retractable hardtop, front-engine V-8, direct injection, seven-speed transmission, launch-control system, stacked exhaust. The Getrag dual-clutch seven-speed automated manual gearbox is nothing short of absolute perfection, worlds better than the old single-clutch F1 automated manual found in most current Ferraris. The speed in which shifts are made are now basically immeasurable leaving you with constant acceleration accompanied by a sweet-sounding bark between shifts. With launch control you'll reach 60 in 3.5 sec and the quarter mile will tick away in 11.9 seconds at 117.4 mph. The interior is a fantastic step up as well, equipped with Daytona seats that not only look great, they feel perfect cradling you the whole drive.
